Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Heroku Developer to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of experience in IT, with a strong focus on Heroku platform development and administration. This role requires expertise in deploying and scaling web/backend applications on the Heroku cloud platform, integrating Salesforce with Heroku, and optimizing app performance. Responsibilities:

1. 1.Utilize your expertise in the Heroku platform to build, deploy, and scale web/backend applications.
2. 2.Integrate Salesforce with Heroku to create seamless workflows and data exchange.
3. 3.Optimize app performance through effective dyno management and utilization of Heroku metrics.
4. 4.Explore and leverage Heroku Add-ons and the Heroku Elements Marketplace to enhance application functionality.
5. 5.Develop and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines to streamline the development process.
6. 6.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to app deployment and runtime on the Heroku platform.
7. 7.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and implement solutions.
8. 8.Adhere to best practices in software development, including version control with Git/GitHub.
9. 9.Actively participate in agile development methodologies, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.
10. 10.Take full ownership of assigned tasks, demonstrating commitment, teamwork, and strong communication skills.

Requirements:

1. 1.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 2.Over 5 years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years focused on building, deploying, and scaling applications on the Heroku platform.
3. 3.Strong knowledge of Heroku platform development and administration.
4. 4.Experience integrating Salesforce with Heroku for seamless data exchange.
5. 5.Proficiency in programming languages such as Java/Python and JavaScript/Node.js.
6. 6.Familiarity with Docker, containerization, and SQL databases.
7. 7.Full-stack development skills, including experience with Node.js, Microservices Architecture, and SQL.
8. 8.Experience working with popular relational database management systems like MySQL and MongoDB.
9. 9.Solid understanding of RESTful API development and best practices.
10. 10.Ability to craft efficient and scalable applications that run smoothly on Heroku’s Platform as a Service (PaaS) environment.
11. 11.Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve deployment and runtime issues effectively.
12. 12.Familiarity with agile/SDLC methodologies and a collaborative approach to development.
